In this video, I show you my Claude Code for knowledge work setup: an Obsidian vault where I consolidate all my notes, sources, and projects into one place, then plug in Claude Code so it works more seamlessly together with me. I also connect external apps like Linear through MCP servers.
This isn't a step-by-step tutorial, but I hope it inspires you to explore what's possible with tools like Claude Code.
NOTE: Giving Claude direct access to files on your computer really does mean that it can do EVERYTHING you can do, including deleting stuff. It's always a good idea to make frequent backups of your files (whether or not you use Claude). Anthropic has a great list of what you can do to stay safe here: Use Cowork safely. See the Protecting yourself from malicious attackers section (This page is specifically about Claude Cowork, but the same principles apply when using Claude Code).
