Data controller

I am the data controller for the personal data processed about customers and contacts. You can find my contact details below.

Cleverest ApS (CVR: 46316878)

Kaervej 9, 5600 Faaborg, Denmark

Email: louise@cleverest.me

If you have questions about how your personal data is processed, please contact me at the email address above.

What data do I collect?

Cleverest collects the following data:

  • Name and email address
  • Name, email address, and signup source when you subscribe to the newsletter or course updates
  • Newsletter engagement data (whether an email was opened and which links were clicked)
  • Company name (when provided)
  • Workshop preference (when selected from the contact form)
  • Message content from inquiries
  • Calendar/scheduling information when you book a call
  • Technical data automatically collected when you visit the website (IP address, browser type, country)

How do I collect your data?

You directly provide Cleverest with most of the data collected. Data is collected and processed when you:

  • Submit a workshop request or inquiry through the website
  • Subscribe to the Cleverest AI Broadcast newsletter or course updates on the website, or register for a webinar or course
  • Schedule a call using the booking system
  • Send an email inquiry
  • Visit the website (technical data collected automatically via cookies)

How will your data be used?

Cleverest collects your data so that I can:

  • Respond to your inquiries about services
  • Schedule and conduct calls with you
  • Deliver workshops and consulting services
  • Send you relevant follow-up information
  • Send you the Cleverest AI Broadcast newsletter and, if you opted in separately, emails about upcoming courses and workshops
  • Improve website functionality

I do not share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

How is your data stored?

Cleverest securely stores your data using industry-standard security measures through the service providers listed in the Data processors section below.

Retention periods:

  • Inquiry data (potential customers): 1 year after last contact, then deleted
  • Client data: Duration of engagement plus 5 years (required for accounting records under Danish law)
  • Accounting records: Minimum 5 years after the end of the financial year (required by Danish Bookkeeping Act)

Newsletter and course updates

I send the Cleverest AI Broadcast, a monthly newsletter about working with AI, and separate emails about upcoming courses and workshops. Both are voluntary, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.

I only send these emails if you have given your active consent, and the two are opted into separately: subscribing to the newsletter does not add you to course updates, and the other way round. When you subscribe through the website, you receive a confirmation email and are only added once you click the link in it. When you click "Send me course updates" in a newsletter email, that click adds you to the course updates list.

I process your name, email address, where you signed up, and whether you opened an email or clicked a link in it. Open and click data is used to see what gets read and to act on your choices (for example, adding you to course updates when you click that link). It is not used for profiling or automated decisions.

Legal basis: GDPR Article 6(1)(a) (consent).

Your data is processed for as long as you remain subscribed. If no email has been sent for 1 year, your consent lapses due to inactivity. After you unsubscribe, your consent record is retained for 2 years as required by the Danish Consumer Ombudsman's spam guidelines, then deleted.
